Full Allocation/Short Pick
The allocation process fully allocates all ordered quantity. There are pick exceptions - meaning you were ONLY able to pick less than the allocated quantity.

Full allocation means that you have enough product inventory for a full allocation on the order. However, the picker could not pick the required quantity.
There are two (2) reasons as to why this may happen.
1. When the picker arrives at the inventory location to pick, he discovers that certain quantity of the product is simply NOT there!!
2. When the picker arrives at the inventory location to pick, he discovers that certain quantity of the product is damaged beyond pickable/salable condition.
To remedy this situation, you may have to:
1. Accept short pick and then ship short.
2. Unallocated some other lower-priority orders to make those product inventory available for this order then allocation this order again.
3. Cancel the order and wait for more product inventory to become available via inbound.
The process for handling this type of exception is similar to the process outlined in the Short Allocation/Full Pick section above.
